Description
The CD10 antibody, clone W8E7, is derived from the hybridization of P3-X63-Ag8.653 mouse myeloma cells with spleen cells of BALB/c mice immunized with blasts from a patient with non-T ALL.
The CD10 antibody (Anti-CALLA) recognizes a human common acute lymphoblastic leukemia antigen (CALLA), with a molecular weight of 100 kilodaltons (kDa). The CD10 antigen is identical to human membrane–associated neutral endopeptidase (NEP; EC 3.3.24.11), also known as enkephalinase.

FITC, fluorescein isothiocyanate, is a fluorochrome with a molecular weight of 389 Da. FITC is sensitive to pH changes and photobleaching. Due to nearly identical excitation and emission properties but different spillover characteristics, FITC and Alexa Fluor® 488 cannot be used simultaneously. FITC is relatively dim and should be reserved for highly expressed markers whenever possible.
